Lonida's private sale is paid for in USDC on the Polygon network. If you don't hold any crypto yet, this guide takes you from your local currency to LONIDA in your Lonida wallet. Read the network warning before you send anything.
The one mistake that loses money
When you withdraw USDC you must choose the Polygon network. USDC also exists on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Tron, Solana, Arbitrum and others. Those are different networks. Coins sent on the wrong network do not arrive in your Lonida wallet and usually cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. Check the network on the withdrawal screen twice before you confirm.
What you'll need
- A verified account on Binance or Bybit (identity verification is required to buy with money)
- A payment method: bank card, bank transfer, or a local payment method through P2P
- Your Lonida wallet address, copied from your Presale page
- About 15-30 minutes the first time, mostly waiting for verification
Part 1 - Buying on Binance
Binance supports the widest range of currencies and payment methods, which is why it is listed first. If Binance is restricted where you live, skip to Part 2 for Bybit - the steps are almost identical.
Create and verify your account
Sign up at binance.com with your email or phone. Then complete Identity Verification (also called KYC) from Account -> Identification. You will need a government ID and a selfie. Verification is required before you can buy or withdraw, and it usually completes in minutes but can take up to a day.
- Use your real name exactly as it appears on your ID, or verification will fail.
- Turn on two-factor authentication straight away - Account -> Security.
Choose how you want to pay
Binance offers several ways to turn your local money into crypto. Open Buy Crypto in the top menu and pick whichever suits your country. All of them get you to the same place.
- Card (Visa/Mastercard) - fastest, works in most countries, highest fees. Buy Crypto -> Credit/Debit Card.
- Bank transfer - cheaper than card, takes longer. Buy Crypto -> Bank Deposit. Available for EUR (SEPA), GBP (Faster Payments), USD and others.
- P2P - you buy directly from another person, paying by local bank transfer or mobile money. Buy Crypto -> P2P Trading. This is the option most widely available in Africa, South Asia and Latin America, and often has the best rates.
- Third-party providers - Buy Crypto -> Third-Party Payment lists local on-ramps (Banxa, Simplex and similar) if the options above are not available to you.
Buy USDC directly if you can
On the buy screen, set the currency you are spending (USD, EUR, GBP, NGN, INR, BRL, and many more) and set the coin you are receiving to USDC. If USDC is offered for your currency, buy it directly and skip the next step entirely.
- Not every currency can buy USDC directly. If USDC is not in the list, buy USDT or BUSD instead and convert in the next step.
- Check the amount you will receive before confirming - the rate shown includes the fee.
Convert to USDC if you bought something else
If you ended up with USDT or another coin, open Trade -> Convert. Choose the coin you hold as From, choose USDC as To, enter the amount and confirm. Convert is a simple one-screen swap with no trading knowledge required and no order book to read.
- Convert usually shows zero fee - the cost is built into the rate, which is fine for this purpose.
- USDT to USDC is close to 1:1. If the rate looks far from that, stop and check you picked the right coins.
Withdraw USDC on the Polygon network
This is the step that matters. Open Wallet -> Spot -> Withdraw, choose USDC, and paste your Lonida wallet address. Then, in the Network field, select Polygon. Enter the amount and confirm with your two-factor code. The transfer usually arrives within a few minutes.
- Network must be Polygon. Not Ethereum, not BNB Smart Chain, not Tron.
- Binance may show the network as 'Polygon' or 'MATIC' - both refer to the same network here.
- Send a small test amount first if you are nervous. A few dollars is enough to prove the route works.
- There is a small withdrawal fee, and a minimum withdrawal amount. Both are shown on the withdrawal screen.
Part 2 - Buying on Bybit
Bybit works the same way and is a good alternative where Binance is unavailable. The wording differs slightly, the sequence does not.
Create and verify your account
Sign up at bybit.com, then complete identity verification from Account -> Verification. As with Binance, you need a government ID and a selfie, and you cannot buy or withdraw until this is done.
Buy with your local currency
Open Buy Crypto in the top menu. Bybit offers One-Click Buy for card payments, P2P Trading for local bank transfers and mobile money, and Fiat Deposit in supported regions. Pick the one available to you and buy USDC if it is offered, or USDT if it is not.
Convert to USDC if needed
If you hold USDT, open Trade -> Convert, set From to USDT and To to USDC, and confirm. Same idea as Binance - one screen, no order book.
Withdraw USDC on Polygon
Open Assets -> Withdraw, choose USDC, paste your Lonida wallet address, and select Polygon (POS) as the chain. Confirm with two-factor. Funds usually arrive within minutes.
- Bybit labels the network 'Polygon PoS'. That is the correct one.
- Bybit requires a withdrawal address to be added and sometimes confirmed by email the first time.
Part 3 - Getting your LONIDA
Copy your Lonida wallet address
Open your Presale page on Lonida. Your wallet address is shown there with a copy button and a QR code. This is the address USDC must be sent to, and it is also the address your LONIDA will be delivered to - the same address receives both.
- Always copy the address rather than typing it. One wrong character sends the money nowhere.
- Paste it into the exchange, then compare the first four and last four characters against Lonida before you send.
Send the USDC
Withdraw from your exchange as described above, on the Polygon network, to that address. Nothing else is needed - you do not have to press anything on Lonida.
Your coins arrive automatically
As soon as your USDC is detected, it is converted at the private sale rate and your LONIDA is sent to the same wallet, usually within a few minutes. You'll get an email confirming the amount. You can buy again at any time before the sale closes by sending more USDC to the same address.
How much LONIDA will I get?
The private sale rate is fixed at $0.20 per LONIDA, against a launch price of $0.50. So $100 of USDC buys 500 LONIDA. The exact rate and how much of the pool is left are shown live on your Presale page.

Take your time on the first one
Nobody gets a refund for a mistake on a blockchain. Send a small test amount, confirm it arrives, then send the rest. It costs a few cents in fees and removes all the risk from the larger transfer.
