Public profiles: how other managers see you

Your public profile page explained — what visitors see, the four tabs on it, and the three actions other managers can take: message, gift and follow.

Every manager with a username has a public profile at /community/user/their-username. It is genuinely public — visible to people who are not signed in to Lonida at all — so it is worth knowing exactly what it shows.

The profile header

  • Avatar and nameOptional
    Your profile photo and username.
  • Club badgeOptional
    Your club, coloured with your club's primary and secondary colours.
  • Club bannerOptional
    Your club's banner image across the top.
  • Location and local timeOptional
    Your city and country, and the current time where you are — read from your profile timezone.
  • Joined dateOptional
    When you registered.
  • Social linksOptional
    Only the networks you actually filled in. Empty ones are hidden.
  • AboutOptional
    Your bio from the Profile tab.

The local clock is a small feature that does real work

Showing your local time tells another manager whether it is reasonable to expect a reply, and whether a proposed kick-off is the middle of your night. It comes straight from your profile timezone — another reason to set it correctly.

    Everything that manager has published in the community.
  • FollowersOptional
    Who follows them.
  • FollowingOptional
    Who they follow.
  • GiftsOptional
    Gifts they have received from other managers.

What others can do

A signed-in visitor viewing someone else's profile gets three actions:

The three buttons

  • MessageOptional
    Opens a direct conversation. Subject to that person's Allow Direct Messages setting.
  • GiftOptional
    Send them LONIDA. It arrives in their wallet and always produces a notification.
  • FollowOptional
    Follow or unfollow. The button shows the current state.

Your own profile looks different

Viewing your own profile does not show these buttons — you cannot message, gift or follow yourself. This is the best way to preview how your profile reads to a stranger.

What visitors actually judge

  • A real photo rather than default initials.
  • A bio that says how you play and when you are around.
  • Correct timezone, so your local clock is accurate.
  • Club colours set, so your badge looks like a club rather than a placeholder.
  • Only the social links you genuinely use.
FAQ

Common questions

Can people who are not signed in see my profile?+
Yes. Public profiles are visible to anyone with the link, signed in or not. Write your bio with that in mind.
Is my address or phone number shown?+
No. Street address, postal code and phone number are never published. Only your city and country appear.
Someone cannot message me.+
Check Allow Direct Messages in your account Settings tab. If it is off, new conversations cannot be started with you.
My profile link does not work.+
Profile pages exist for managers who have set a username. If you have not set one, there is no public page yet.
My club badge looks plain on my profile.+
Set your club's primary and secondary colours on the Club Overview tab — the badge takes its colours from there.
